DC Studios has finally confirmed the fate of the Suicide Squad, as the first teaser trailer for Creature Commandos has introduced the team’s replacement for the DC Universe. James Gunn’s first experience with DC saw him reinvent the titular antihero team in 2021’s The Suicide Squad. Since then, the filmmaker has gone on to become co-CEO of DC Studios, leading the creative side of the studio that will soon reboot the DCEU into the DC Universe, which kicks off with the release of Creature Commandos in December.
