Five Nights at Freddys 2 has been given a release date of December 5, 2025, which could suggest the introduction of a chilly new animatronic from the games. When it was released last October, Five Nights at Freddys quickly surpassed Split to become Blumhouses highest-grossing movie ever despite being released on Peacock the same day it arrived in theaters so it was hardly surprising when a sequel was announced to be in development.
