It seems like almost a given that Capcom is currently developing Resident Evil 9 but the latest reports regarding the sequel suggest it could still be a while before it is unveiled. Given the level of quality seen in the previous Resident Evil releases, those being Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake, one can’t blame the community for becoming increasingly more excited about the next mainline game. Rumors have swirled that the ninth chapter in the saga will feature some major changes to the standard formula which may be why it’s already being delayed.
