Alien: Romulus Looks Like A Near-Perfect Adaptation Of A 10-Year-Old Video Game
The Alien: Romulus trailer has revealed multiple links to other entries in the Alien movie series, but the project’s biggest connection may not be to a fellow film. Following the mixed reception to Ridley Scott’s two prequel movies, Alien: Romulus already looks like a return to the franchise’s roots. Aesthetically and narratively, the movie is much closer to Alien and Aliens than other entries, occurring between the two movies in the overall Alien timeline. With this positioning, however, Romulus actually has much closer ties to an Alien project that may be unfamiliar to exclusively movie fans.
