The Rocky franchise will continue to live on as Creed 4 is in development, and if the writers of the upcoming movie want to include a parallel to Rocky IV in the script, the opportunity to do so is already readily available. Following the success of Creed III, the second highest-grossing movie in the Rocky film series, Warner Bros. made the easy decision to order a sequel featuring the likely return of Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed. Jordan is also set to direct the upcoming project after he did an excellent job helming the third movie (which was also his directorial debut).
