The main characters of South Park are a quartet of suburban schoolchildren from the fictional town of the title. Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny (as well as Butters, in later seasons) are the young stars of the series. Like the protagonists of most cartoon comedies, the South Park boys don’t appear to age.
