In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, black and silver rank monsters are the two highest ranks of common enemies, and among the most daunting non-boss foes Link will come up against during his adventure. Early in a run, coming across a black or silver enemy is highly uncommon; however, after a while, it can seem like they are the only adversaries Link ever encounters. This is because Link actually has a hidden level that increases as the player defeats enemies.
Though The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features many challenging bosses, black and silver rank common enemies can be just as formidable.
